Rainbow Pool is a serene Sierra Nevada escape, perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The pool's clear waters, surrounded by nature, offer a picturesque spot to relax and swim. While it's popular, the hike in adds adventure, making it a must-visit for a refreshing day in nature. There is $10 parking fee.

Amazing place. Parking is 10$. The pools are safe to swim in. Top pool feeds the waterfall into main pool, so careful near the edge. People jump off the rocks next to the waterfall, about 30ft. Rocks under water are slippery AF so water shoes would be nice. Water is nice and cool in summertime. I imagine as soon as we cool down, it gets cold fast! It's one of my favorite swimming holes ive ever seen

This was a great spot to check out. We would have loved to know that there was a $10 (cash only) amount due for parking beforehand. There are bathrooms available, which was nice. We got there pretty early on a Saturday morning, and glad we did as it filled up pretty quickly around 11am. We took our two young children (4&6) and they both did fine since there was a couple spots where the water was pretty calm. We did, however, have them wear floaties just in case. There were people jumping off the large rock, which was entertaining, although I heard later that a couple of people died the weekend before. Take caution and please clean up after yourself to keep this awesome spot beautiful!

$10 to park all day and you can return anytime between 8am and 8pm. We arrived at 12pm on a Wednesday in late July and got a parking space. Give it take there are about 25 parking spaces. Some none official ones on the exit out (one way only) but you may get a warning. There are toilets that are long drop so not for the faint hearted. There is the main pool with the larger waterfall but go towards the bridge and you’ll find other pools and cascades to dip in. Large bins for rubbish so no excuse to leave anything behind. Some have brought inflatables but most important is water bottles, there are no areas to purchase or refill. No alcohol is permitted. There is a picnic area near the toilet building. Water shoes are advantageous but not essential. Not suitable for those with mobility issues as access is down slopes and climbing over rocks and small boulders. A lovely place to spend a few hours on a hot summers day. The water was refreshing and crisp. Perfect.

It's a quiet secluded place for a dip in the water. Thing that scared us was the warning signs about rattle snakes which prevented us from getting into the water and staying there for long

Beautiful little area to chill and cool off. We were headed to Yosemite falls but didn't realize that they required reservations to enter the park. By the time we tried to buy tickets, it was all sold out so we headed to rainbow pools. We drove on the motorcycle and I didn't have clothes to get in the water so that was a bummer for me but my son fully enjoyed nonetheless. Definitely will go back for a swim soon to enjoy the cascades. Maybe a weekday will be better as it got pretty crowded yesterday.
